These Terms govern your use of Sticky Wallpaper (the "App"), provided by [Your Name / Studio] ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. What Sticky Wallpaper does
The App lets you pick a photo from your device, add a handwritten-style sticky note on top of it, and set the result as your device wallpaper. All of this happens locally on your device — see our Privacy Policy for details.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
3. Your photos and content
You keep all rights to the photos you choose and the notes you write. We never claim ownership of them, and we never even see them — they stay on your device the whole time. You're responsible for only using photos you have the right to use, and for whatever you write in your sticky notes.
4. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose, or to create content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App beyond what's permitted by applicable law;
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
5. Device compatibility
Sticky Wallpaper relies on the Android wallpaper system, which can behave differently across device manufacturers and Android versions. Some manufacturer-customized versions of Android — for example, ColorOS and ColorOS-based builds on certain Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme devices — place extra restrictions on wallpaper-related system APIs, particularly on Android 13 and newer. We work to support as many devices as we can, but we can't guarantee the wallpaper-setting feature will behave identically on every device.
6. Intellectual property
The App itself — its design, code, branding, and features — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you, beyond the limited license in Section 2.
7. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including — to the extent permitted by law — any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of data, photos, or wallpapers — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; continuing to use the App after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at our discretion.
