Sticky Wallpaper is built by [Anharsha M/ Studio] ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains how the app handles information — and it's short, because the app doesn't have a server, an account system, or anything to send your data to.
Data safety, in one line
No data is collected. No data is shared. Nothing ever leaves your device.
1. Information we collect
We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Sticky Wallpaper doesn't ask you to create an account, sign in, or hand over any personal details to use it.
2. How the app handles your photos
When you pick a photo to turn into a wallpaper, that photo is processed entirely on your device. The app reads the image you chose, draws your sticky note on top of it, and saves the result so it can be set as your wallpaper. The photo, the note you write, and the finished wallpaper are never uploaded to us or to anyone else — we simply have no server to send them to.
3. Permissions the app uses
- Photo / media access — lets you choose the background image you want to use. On newer Android versions this is often handled by the system's built-in photo picker, which doesn't require giving the app broad access to your gallery.
- Set wallpaper — a standard Android permission that lets the app apply your finished image as your device wallpaper. It doesn't give the app access to anything else on your device.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, call log, or messages, and it does not need an internet connection to work.
4. Where your data lives
Any wallpaper you create stays in your device's own storage. We don't run any servers, databases, or cloud storage for user content — so there's nothing on our end that could be accessed, lost, or breached, because we never have it in the first place.
5. Third-party services
Sticky Wallpaper does not currently use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. If a future update adds a service like this, we'll update this policy and the in-app version before that update goes out, and we'll describe what data it involves.
6. Children's privacy
Sticky Wallpaper isn't directed at children under 13. Since the app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, it doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children either.
7. Your choices
Because everything happens on your device, you're always in control. Uninstalling the app removes everything it created. You can also revoke photo/media permission at any time from your device's app settings without affecting your other photos.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app changes — for example, if a future version adds a feature that handles data differently. We'll post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
